Tramlines Festival is pulling out all the stops for its 16th edition in 2025! Returning to Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park from July 25th to 27th, the festival promises an unforgettable weekend of music, community, and celebration. With Pulp, The Reytons, and Kasabian headlining the event, it’s a line-up that feels like a dream come true for festival-goers and local music fans alike.
Friday: Pulp Returns to Sheffield
Sheffield’s very own Pulp are set to headline Friday’s main stage, marking only their fourth Sheffield performance since 2000. This homecoming is extra special, as Pulp has curated the entire day’s line-up! Alongside their iconic hits, expect standout performances from their handpicked artists: the spellbinding Spiritualized, offbeat legend Baxter Dury, and the Parisian indie-folk trio Oracle Sisters. And if that wasn’t enough, electronic maestros Hot Chip will bring a high-energy DJ set, while Sheffield’s own I Monster delivers a nostalgic dose of electronic brilliance.
Saturday: The Reytons Take the Spotlight
Saturday belongs to The Reytons, the Rotherham rockers who’ve risen from local gigs to sell-out shows at venues like Clifton Park. This will be a homecoming headline show like nothing Tramlines has ever seen and we’ve been waiting for this since the day we started following the band.
Sharing the stage are indie titans Franz Ferdinand, the dynamic duo Rizzle Kicks, and a nostalgic mix of acts including Natasha Bedingfield, Jake Bugg, and Heather Small. Local favourites like The Rosadocs and The K’s add a Sheffield edge, while the ever-quirky Everly Pregnant Brothers guarantee good vibes.
Sunday: A Grand Finale with Kasabian
Closing the weekend in style, Kasabian will deliver their signature electrifying performance on Sunday. They’ll be joined by rising stars like The Last Dinner Party, indie favourites The Lathums, and pop sensation Sigrid. Scouting for Girls and Sheffield’s The Sherlocks will keep the crowd buzzing, while acts like The Royston Club and Cliffords ensure there’s something for everyone.
Beyond the Music
Tramlines is about more than just great music. This year, the festival continues to give back, funding a new row of trees in Hillsborough Park and donating over £30,000 to local causes through the Tramlines Trust. The festival has now raised an incredible £260,000 for charities since 2018.
The Tramlines team also teased the line-up with citywide hints—billboards with iconic song lyrics and Tramlines-branded bottles of Henderson’s Relish. In classic Sheffield style, the community joined the fun, building anticipation for this blockbuster weekend.
